FMAid: an interactive charitable event has been established to raise needed funds for survivors of the Japanese disaster! Hosted by FMAid, a charitable division of Vancouver-based FMA Entertainment Weekly
Funds will be raised through a silent auction, with all proceeds going to disaster relief in Japan.Â
As of March 25th, Japanese authorities have released a death toll of 10,035 with an additional 17,443 missing. Over half of one million people are currently without electricity, and 2.1 million without water. It is estimated that there are over 177,000 people living in evacuation centers. A total of almost 27,500 people have been killed or are unaccounted for.Â
In a time when the world is being rocked by change, FMAid: Rock For Japan hopes to bring money and awareness to disaster response efforts – both globally and locally!
